Ojudu Preaches Unity, Patriotism Among Ekiti Muslims

As Muslims concludes the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations nationwide,  Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, has charged Ekiti Muslim faithfus to embrace patriotism, sacrifice, love, and unity as their focal point of this year’s celebration.

Ojudu said this in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital as he joined other Muslim faithfuls for the year’s Eid celebration.  

Speaking at the event, the president-general of the Muslim community in the state, Abdulganiyu Adebisi also enjoined Muslims to follow the dictates of Islam while contributing to the progress of the nation by actively participating in politics

Ojudu, in the process appealed to Muslim faithful to uphold the tenets of Islam by emulating the sacrificial life of Prophet Ibrahim

Also speaking at the event, the deputy governorship candidate of the PDP at the July 14 governorship election in the state, Kazeem Deji Ogunsakin used the occasion to appeal to the federal  government  to tighten  security across the nation and put an end to mindless killings of innocent  Nigerians

The celebration which was characterized by Islamic recitations and sermon was without the usual pomp and pageantry.
