Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said 34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tincan Island ports in Lagos between June 4 and June 6. The NPA disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position released on Wednesday.
It said that 13 of the expected vessels would convey containers carrying various goods, while the remaining 21 ships would berth with frozen fish, petrol, fuel oil, condensate, ethanol, bulk gas, general cargo, aviation fuel, bulk wheat, diesel and crude oil.
The authority also said that 12 vessels had arrived at the ports and were awaiting berth to discharge containers, gasoline, bulk fertiliser, petrol, aviation fuel, crude oil, bulk salt and bulk urea.
According to NPA, 25 ships are currently discharging cargoes at the Lekki Deep Sea, Apapa and Tincan Island ports.
