Kaduna pilgrims’ agency begins airlift May 14

 

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has said the first batch of intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj will depart Nigeria on May 14.

This is contained in a statement issued on Friday in Kaduna by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Malam Ibrahim Datti.

Datti said the date marked the commencement of airlift operations for Kaduna State pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He said arrangements for the exercise were progressing steadily, assuring pilgrims of smooth and hitch-free operations.

According to him, the agency has put in place adequate measures to ensure seamless departure, including logistics, health screening and orientation programmes.

He advised intending pilgrims to remain attentive to official communications and adhere strictly to guidelines and schedules to be provided by the agency.

Datti appreciated stakeholders for their cooperation and support, and prayed for a successful Hajj exercise.
