An Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun State, has remanded one Michael Sunday, 18, in prison after he pleaded guilty to alleged stealing of three Pelletier machine and other items valued N1.1 million.
Sunday, of no fixed address, is being charged for stealing which he pleaded guilty to.
The Prosecutor, ASP E.O. Adaraloye, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Nov.8, at about 8.10 a.m.at No.18 Tarmac Road, Ota.
Adaraloye alleged that the defendant stole three pelletier machine, one big disc and raw food materials all valued at N1.1 million, belonging to his employer.
He said that the offence contravened Section 390(9) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2025.
The Magistrate, Mrs O. O. Fadairo, ordered that the defendant be remanded in the prison.
Fadairo adjourned the case until Dec.10, for establishment of facts.
