Former President Muhammadu Buhari is dead.
He died in a London hospital on Sunday, July 13, 2025. He was 82.
A terse statement by his former Senior Special Assistant Garba Shehu confirmed the incident. According to the statement he said, “INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIR RAJI’UN. The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.
