Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna State has said the state remains highly committed to President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 in appreciation of his administration’s development efforts.
Sani made this known on Friday during inspecting and inauguration of projects in Makarfi and Kudan Local Government Areas of the state.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr AbdulKadir Meyere, Sani said projects in the state were made possible through Tinubu’s efforts and the collaboration between the Federal and Kaduna State.

He also lauded the active involvement of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, in facilitating the delivery of the projects.
The governor said the projects demonstrated the benefits of cooperation between the two levels of government and their commitment to improving the lives of residents.
Some of the projects included the groundbreaking ceremony for male and female hostels at Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Makarfi, and the construction of the Makarfi bypass linking many communities and the inauguration of a 20 bed primary healthcare centre.
Sani urged residents to appreciate the development efforts by supporting the leaders responsible for delivering them to address their needs.
In his remarks, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas said more than 80 projects would be executed across seven local government areas in Zone One, excluding Zaria within the year.
Abbas said the projects would address critical needs in education, healthcare, roads and enterprise development.
He explained that the hostel project at Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology would provide safer accommodation for students and improve their learning environment.
Abbas emphasised the importance of maintaining the newly commissioned 20-bed primary healthcare centre to ensure residents continued to receive essential medical services.
He said the Makarfi bypass would improve connectivity, reduce travel time and transport costs, and facilitate the movement of agricultural produce to markets.
The Speaker commended Gov. Sani for promoting inclusive development through projects designed to ensure communities across Kaduna State benefited from government interventions.
He disclosed that the governor played a significant role in selecting and allocating projects to communities across the state.
Abbas said the projects resulted from consultations with the governor, adding that cooperation among federal, state and local governments was essential for sustainable development.
He urged contractors to execute the projects according to specifications and within stipulated timelines, while calling on residents to monitor construction and protect completed facilities.
Abbas said the projects formed part of a broader vision to strengthen education, healthcare, road connectivity and economic opportunities across the state.
