The Federal Government will on Monday, February 2, 2026, arraign suspects linked to the recent killings in Yelwata, Benue State.
This is contained in a statement by the Senior Assistant to the Minister of Justice, Kamarudeen Ogundele, his S.A on Communication and Publicity.
The suspects, the ministry said will be arraigned before Justice Joyce Abdul-Malik of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on February 2.
The Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi assured Nigerians that Justice will be ensured in the matter to send a strong signal to the enemies of the country, acting under any guise.
“This comes after a painstaking investigation and collaboration by government agencies. The administration of President Bola Tinubu is committed to the protection of lives and property of all as enshrined in the constitution”, he stressed.
