Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has approved appointments and promotions aimed at strengthening governance and service delivery across key sectors.

This was contained in a statement by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, on Wednesday in Kano.

He said that the appointments included: Abdulkadir Kankarofi as Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs; and Hajia Aisha Tamburawa as Special Adviser on Positive Propaganda.

Also appointed were: Alhaji Mukhtar Yusuf as Managing Director of the Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA); and Dr Mukhtar Maisudan as Executive Secretary, Kano State Scholarship Board.

Others were:  Alhaji Abba Kankarofi as Managing Director, Kano Road and Maintenance Agency (KARMA), and Musayyib Ungoggo as Managing Director, Kano Zoological Garden.

Yusuf charged the appointees to demonstrate dedication, transparency, and commitment to the people of Kano State, aligning with the Kano First Agenda objectives.
