President Bola Tinubu has sent a congratulatory message to Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, an influential Lagos politician and former Minister of State for Defence, on his 65th birthday on July 28.
An apex leader within the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State and member of the Governance Advisory Council, Obanikoro served as Senator representing Lagos Central from 2003 to 2007 and later as Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Ghana.
Tinubu highlighted Obanikoro’s significant contributions to Lagos State, particularly as Chairman of the Lagos Island Local Government and Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture during his administration.
The President affirmed that Obanikoro’s commitment to Lagos development and his pivotal role within the state APC are also worthy of note.
While urging the Senator fondly called Koro to continue working for the country’s unity and progress, the President prayed for a long life and renewed strength to him.
