Ibrahim Gusau is the new elected president of Nigeria Football Federation(NFF).
Gusua emerged as the winner during the Annual General Assembly of the federation held in Benin City on Friday.
The former chairman of Chairmen of Nigeria football was elected after defeating his closest rival , Peterside Idah.
In the first round of voting , Gusau garnered 21 votes, defeating outgoing NFF First Vice President, Seyi Akinwunmi and Second Vice President, Shehu Dikko, who got 12 and 6 votes respectively.
That left room for Idah to call for a rerun, while other contestants Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko stepped down for Gusau.
At the rerun, Gusau polled 39 votes while Idah scored one vote
