American singer and songwriter, Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Alex Rodriguez have announced that they are officially ending their two-year engagement.
The stars who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, said they have realised that they are better off as friends.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,”
“We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
Lopez and Rodriguez have been together since 2017 and they officially became a couple on March 2019.
Lopez was originally married to Singer Marc Anthony and divorced in 2014 while Rodriguez also had a divorce in 2008.
