Amidst protests in the north, including the president’s home state, Katsina, President Muhammadu Buhari is holding a high-powered meeting with the service chiefs.
A newspaper had reported recently that the service chiefs are to be changed. No official confirmation or denial have been issued on this.
The president is meeting with the security heads at the presidential villa. Also, at the meeting is the chief of defence staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, chief of defence staff.
