The Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards(AMVCA)  7th edition held yesterday at the Eko Hotel and Covention Centre in Lagos.

The annual award is aimed to honor the celebrities and those in showbiz for their outstanding perfromance  in the television and film making.

The sequel to Living in Bondage: Breaking Free’  directed by Ramsey Nouah was the biggest winner of the night with 7 plaques.

Ex-Big Brother Naija housemates Mercy Eke and Mike Edwards won the ‘Best Dressed Female’  and ‘Best Dressed Male’  respectively.

Others are Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham who won in the categories of  Best Actress in a Comedy for her role in ‘Moms at War and Best Female Actress in Drama or TV series respectively.
