It was a romantic urge that went awry as Timilehin Taiwo (16), an SS3 student, stabbed her father’s friend to death over allegation that the deceased wanted to forcefully have canal knowledge of her
Taiwo who resides and schools in Aboru, Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Lagos State, stabbed Babatunde Ishola, 49, his father’s friend severally, leading to the death of the latter.
On interrogation by the police. Taiwo claimed he stabbed Ishola in self defence.
According to her, on Saturday, (March 7, 2020}, Ishola sent for her to help him fetch water and in the process, grabbed her and wanted to forcefully had sex with her.
She said the man who lived alone used to call her to assist him in home shores, but on that particular day he called her to come and fetch water for him. “He grabbed me and wanted to rape me and I stabbed him with the knife I found in his room.”
