Justice Emmanuel Ayoola of a Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun state capital, on Monday watched the nude video of the state assembly leader, Hon. Timothy Owoeye.
Recall that a nude video of Owoeye in which he was seen bathing allegedly with human blood at Osunjela Ijesa, a village in Osun state swirled around social media sometime last year.
Owoeye, who is believed to be a victim of fraudsters, popularly known as 419 was deceived into performing the fake ritual to avert false sudden death that was prophesized to him by the same unscrupulous elements, who went on to dupe him of a total sum of N38million between the month of April and July 2018.
Olakunle Muhammad, son of Olosunjela, Oba Muhammad Babatunde, was among the persons accused of defrauding the lawmaker and had been arraigned.
When the case came up again on Monday, Owoeye’s counsel showed the said clip to the Justice Ayoola in private after he requested that persons in the court should vacate it and was granted by the judge.
The matter was adjourned to May 27, for further hearing
