The All Progressives Congress, APC, caucus will hold an emergency meeting in Abuja, today, Monday, February 18, 2019, to review its strategies for the Presidential and National Assembly elections holding this Saturday.
The vote had been scheduled for last Saturday but the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, jolted the nation from its sleep in the wee hours of Saturday, few hours to the commencement of voting, and announced a shift in the general elections, citing logistical problems, among others.
Today’s emergency meeting of the APC caucus starts at 11:00 a.m., at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The Presidential and National Assembly polls hold this Saturday, February 23, while Governorship and State Assembly elections hold on March 9.
