The Commonwealth Institute of Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS) is to hold its 2024 Quarterly Public on May 9, 2024. The lecture is to hold at its CIAPS Auditorium, Ikeja at 10am.
The theme of the lecture is “Anatomy of Corruption”. The keynote speaker is Anthony Kila, CIAPS Institute Director and Professor of Strategy and Development. A panel of experts are to discuss the issue. It is made up of Fred Nzeakor, a legal and Public Affairs analyst; Bala Zakka, an Accountant, Engineer and Tax Expert; and ICAN district Chairman; Debo Adeniran, a Consultant Educationalist and Pioneer Secretary-General, Committee for the Defence of Human Rights; and Nabilah Usman, an Editor, Writer and Broadcast journalist.
The red carpet and cocktails will open at 9 a.m. with drinks and music later.
CIAPS Events Manager Bisola Ojo noted that the event is not just a lecture but a platform for interactive discussions and learning, adding that the event is ‘“part of our efforts to understand and help to improve the world we live in. A lecture like this is an opportunity to engage with professionals and the public on issues that will soon affect their world”.
