A 55-year-old female caretaker, Bolatito Adekunle, on Tuesday, appeared before an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court, for alleged breach of peace.
The defendant, whose residential address was not provided, is facing a count charge bordering on breach of peace.
The Prosecutor, Cpl. Akeem Akinloye, told the court that the defendant sometimes in December 2023 at Unity Estate, Ologuneru, Ibadan, allegedly conducted herself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace.
Akinloye alleged that the defendant had rented out a two-bedroom flat accommodation without the consent of the owner.
He said the offence contravened section 249 (D) of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State 2000.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs O. 0. Ogunkanmi, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
Ogunkanmi, thereafter, adjourned the matter until May 6, for hearing.
