President-elect, Bola Tinubu says he is strong and ready to take on the task ahead of him.
Tinubu returned to the country on Monday evening from France after spending one month abroad.
The president-elect traveled out of the country after the governorship election of March 18
There has been some controversy about the state of health of the president-elect and some speculation that he went on the trip to take care of his health.
But speaking shortly after his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja , Tinubu asked Nigerians to ignore rumor mills, adding that he is “very strong”.
āIām happy to be back. I have rested, Iām refreshed and Iām ready for the task ahead,ā the former Lagos governor was quoted in a statement by Rahman.
āForget about what the rumour mill may have told you. Iām strong, very strong.ā
The president-elect said he has been consulting on setting up a strong team ahead of the May 29 inauguration.
On May 29, Tinubu will be sworn in as Nigeriaās president to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari who would be completing his two-term of eight years.
