Peter Obi of Labour Party has emerged the overall winner in Rivers State with total votes of 179,917, according to INEC announcement.
Bola Tinubu of the APC took an early lead in the state as many accused the sitting Governor Nyesom Wike of secretly working with the All Progressives Congress, APC. Wike has since denied the allegations.
But in a new development, after all polling units were counted, Obi turned the tables to emerge the winner.
