President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed, Lauretta Onochie, as the substantive chairman of the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
This was made known in a letter addressed to the Senate President Ahmad Lawan .
In the letter which was read on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday, Buhari asked the senate to confirm the nomination of Onochie as NDDC Chairman and that of 15 others as board members.
Before her new appointment, Onochie was the new media to the president.
