Davido and Chioma have lost their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi.
Reports suggested that the young boy who celebrated his three years birthday few days ago was found drowning in the swimming pool at Davido’s house. It was reported that the buy was immediately rushed to the hospital but efforts to revive him were futile.
The couple is yet to make an official statement on this incident, but some celebrities have started sending their condolences to the couple.
Comedian Ayo Makun posted early hours of Tuesday on Instagram that the death of a child is “unnatural, unfair and tragic. This hits me so bad.”
Actress, Iyabo Ojo mourning said, “I don’t even know how to react to this rude shock. I was hoping it wasn’t true. My God!!! This is so shocking, sad, devastating & extremely painful.”
Muyiwa Ademola via his Instagram handle said, “It is one of the saddest thing when kids are being buried by parents. We really wish it never happened! May The Almighty give the parents and the entire Adeleke family the strength to bear this loss. Rest In Peace Champ.”
British rapper and singer, Stephanie Allen, popularly known by her stage name Stefflon Don, took to her verified Twitter handle to pray for the singer. She tweeted, “Prayers for Davido and Chioma.”
In 2018, Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as Dbanj also lost his son, Daniel Jr in a similar tragic circumstances.
