The National Industrial Court of Nigeria has ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to call off its seven month-old strike.
ASUU has been on strike since February 14 demanding for improved finding for universities, a review of salaries for lecturers, among other demands.
All negotiations to resolve the crisis between the federal government and ASUU ended in a deadlock.
As a result, the federal government went to court to challenge the strike.
