A fallen truck has further worsened the bad traffic situation on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The truck fell and blocked the road along Kara bridge. A team of the Federal Road Safety Corps has arrived at the scene to ameliorate the pain for road users.
The crash and the subsequent road blockage have led to many passengers disembarking from their vehicles or commercial buses.
A source close to the FRSC said the accident occurred this morning.
The Lagos team of the corps has been drafted to the scene. The accident according to sources was a s a result of overspeeding and narrowed lanes due to ongoing construction works on the road.
