Super Eagles Crash Out of AFCON 2021

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have crashed out of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) after being defeated by the Carthage of Tunisia.

The Tunisia sent  the 10- man Nigeria packing following their 1-0 win over the super eagles.
Two minutes into the second half, Youssef Maskni  put the ball past the Nigeria goal keeper, Okoye Maduka who failed to stop the shot by the striker.
Alex Iwobi who replaced Kelechi Ihenaacho was given a red card for hard tackle at the 64th minute of the match held at Roumde Adija Stadium on Garoua, Cameroon.
Tunisia, nations cup winner of 1994, will now face Burkina Faso at the quarter final on Saturday, January 29.
