Former Supreme Court Justice Babalakin Dies At 94

Former supreme court justice, Babalakin Oyegoke is dead.

He died in the early hours of Saturday at the age of 94.

The deceased was the father of Wale Balakin(SAN) and chairman , Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd.

According to a statement by the family, the deceased will be buried in his hometown , Gbongan, Osun State

“With total submission to almighty Allaah, we announce return of our father, grandfather, an eminent jurist, justice Bolarinwa Babalakin , Jsc,( rtd) to Allaah this morning Saturday 4th December 2021,” the statement reads.

“Janaazah prayers for him will hold today at Gbongan in Osun state by 4.00 p.m. inshaa Allaahu.

“May Allaahu be merciful with his soul. Aameen.”

Babalakin was a former president of the Muslim Ummah of South-West Nigeria (MUSWEN).
