Nigeria Records 58 New Cases Of Coronavirus

Nigeria has recorded 58 new cases of coronavirus bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 213, 982.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the new figure on Saturday, adding that no deaths were recorded.

According to the agency, the latest positive results were recorded in nine states and the federal capital territory (FCT),

Imo was reported to have topped the chart with 27 new cases, followed by Lagos and Rivers with nine positive samples each.

Other states include Katsina(3), Bayelsa(2), FCT(2), kano(2), Nigeria (2), Bauchi (1) and Plateau (1).

With this figure, the agency said the total number of 207,184 have recovered from the virus    while fatalities stand at  2, 975
