President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked two ministers from his cabinet.
The affected ministers are Saleh Mamman, the minister of power, and Sabo Nanono, the minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
President’s media adviser, Femi Adesina announce the termination of their appointment on Wednesday in Abuja after the federal executive council meeting.
Mohammed Mahmood Abubakar, the minister of environment, is expected to assume the office as the minister of agriculture and rural development while Abubakar Aliyu, the minister of state for works and housing, will take over as the minister of power.
This will be the first time President Buhari will relieve the appointment of his ministers since over six years pf his administration.
According to Adesina the exercise will continue in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
