Former first lady, victoria Aguiyi -Ironisi, wife of the first Nigerian military head of state, Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi is dead.
It was gathered that the former first lady died at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, Abia state after a prolonged battle with stroke in the early hours of Monday.
She was born on November 21, 1923, and was the first lady from January 17, 1966, to July 1966.
She married Aguiyi-Ironsi at the age of 16 in 1953.
