The Nigeria Super Eagles was yesterday drawn in the same group with Egypt, Sudan and Guinea Bissau in Group D for the 2022 African Cup of Nations(AFCON) in Cameroun
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held the draw on Tuesday, August at the Palais de Congres in Yaounde, Cameroun.
The 24 qualified nations were allocated to four plots of six teams each, based on the latest FIFA ranking. The top four teams were allocated to Pot One, of which Nigeria belonged, along with the hosts, Cameroun, and titleholders, Algeria.
