The Police Council has confirmed the appointment of Usman Alkali Baba as the Inspector General of Police
Baba confirmation is coming almost two months after he was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari
The IGP was confirmed on Friday during a meeting of the council in Abuja presided over by President Buhari.
Briefing newsmen after the meeting, the Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi , said the appointment of Baba as IGP was unanimously confirmed.
