The mother of the emir of kano, Alh. Aminu Ado Bayero, Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero is dead.

According to a source at the palace, Hajiya Maryam died on Saturday in Cairo, Egypt after a protracted illness.

The decease was a princess and elder sister to the present Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari
