I’ve no link or sympathy for Boko Haram, says Pantami

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, has denounced reports linking him with the Boko Haram insurgent group. According to him, he has been preaching against the doctrines of Boko Haram and similar groups for a long time.

A video at the weekend has gone viral alleging that he has been put on the watch list of the United States of America.

The minister on his Twitter handle however said, “My lectures against the doctrines and all other evil people have been available for over 15 years, including debates that endangered my life against many criminals in Nigeria.

“By the Almighty, no amount of intimation will stop @IsaPantami from implementing the good policies of President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR on security.”
