A leading Christian Family discussion forum has unveiled an online platform to extend her reach to a larger community of members and beneficiaries with her services.
The online platform, Familylifers.com was launched Thursday at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja by the founders and initiators, Pastor Bisi Adewale and his wife, Pastor Yomi Adewale with the company of other dignitaries, including Mr. Sheye Kehinde, Publisher of City People magazine, Pastor Tommy Vincent, among other prominent personalities.
While making his opening remark at the unveiling event, Sheye Kehinde who was the chairman at the occasion described the Familylifers.com initiative as an online forum that is well capable to educate and enlighten married couples on what it entails to make a successful marriage.
He emphasized the need for marriage experts to emulate the steps taken by the initiators of Familylife.com to keep updating and educating married couples with the required knowledge and information on how to hitch-free marriages.
“This initiative is necessary because we need to be sensitized continuously for our marriages to become a better one than we could imagine,” the City People publisher said.
During the unveiling of the platform, Pastor Adewale who hinted that Family Lifers was derived from the word, Family Lives, said the platform would be teaching people how to overcome and cub crises that are currently prevalent in homes, as well as addressing other crisis-ridden areas of human life, noting that the power of science and technology is a major way to solve most problems in the country due to the emerging initiatives of technology, hence the need to come up with a technology-driven platform like the Familylifers.com to address issues of targeted beneficiaries of the initiative.
He said, “Today, divorce, wife battery, child sexual abuse, crime and some other vices have constituted the major problems of our present society, which is a result of the many changes in the environment from issues such as the Covid-19 pandemic, terrorism, kidnapping, among other societal vices.
“The youths in our society are usually on the phone, but they have no such knowledge acquiring sites on their phones to educate themselves. It takes wisdom to proffer solutions to the problems of life.”
The Familylifers.com online platform with the portal www.familiylifers.com offers prospective beneficiaries the opportunity to connect with friends, solve marriage and relationship problems, showcase skills and products on the platform’s market place for free, and place their CVs for employment opportunities, among other benefits.
