Grammy award winner and entrepreneur, Kanye West says he is running for the office of the President of United States scheduled for November 3.
The rapper announced this via his Twitter page on Sunday morning
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION,” he wrote.

Following his presidential announcement, the CEO of Tesla, Inc Elon Musk, who says he has his full support.

West has been a known supporter of the incumbent US president, Donal Trump. With this announcement, it means that the rapper will be going head to head with Trump and his rival Joe Biden, former US-vice president at the upcoming election
