Adebayo Sikiru Osinowo, (aka Pepper), the senator representing Lagos East in the National Assembly, is dead.
The senator reportedly died on Monday at a Lagos hospital after falling ill and was on admission for some weeks.
Popularly known as Pepper, Osinowo was a grass root politician, who has gone through several levels of political leadership.
Born November 28, 1955, he was a member of the Lagos State House of assembly from May 2003 to May 2019 before he was elected to the Senate.
Osinowo studied Building Technology at the lnstituto per Geometri, Rome, Italy. He obtained his master’s degree at Urbaniana University, Rome, Italy, where he specialised in Building Technology.
Osinowo began his political life in the second republic serving as a youth Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and kept pushing till his death as a senator.
