Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola has refuted the claims that Lanre Hassan(Iya Awero), Lari Williams, and Sunday Akinola( Baba Feyikogbon) begged her for financial assistance.
The busty Yoruba actress in a two-minute video on her Instagram page on Friday denied the claims saying she is only supporting elderly people out of her own volition and they never asked for it
According to Daramola, her last encounter with Mrs. Iya Awero was when they were discussing about her forthcoming 69th birthday and for Lari Willaims, it was a discussion about book publication.
âI donât know why people twist things. Itâs so unfair and so sad. It has come to my notice that people have been calling me concerning Uncle Lari, Iya Awero and Baba Feyikogbon,â Daramola said.
âThese people have not begged me for food or money in any way. As Iâve said, itâs just my own prerogative and way of supporting the little way I can.
âI donât know why everybody is saying that Iya Awero is suffering or something like that. The video that I posted of Uncle Lare, we were even dancing together.
âUncle Lare was discussing with me about the launch of his book. Iya Awero was saying she wants to have a birthday party. I donât know why people are rumoring that these people are suffering.

âAt what point? They have children that are taking care of them. I only just supported her as a child would have supported a mother. Donât write things defaming people unnecessarily.
âItâs really unheard of and itâs not fair. I donât want all these. I only said I was giving older people my own little support. They never asked me for money.â
