The subterranean crisis sprawling through the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) top members, seems to have seen no end as the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting slated for Tuesday has been suspended indefinitely.
The suspension of the NEC was one of the agreements reached during the meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and Governors on the platform known as the Progressive Governors’Forum (PGF) at the State House today.
Earflier, a high court had shifted forward the case filed by the embattled suspended Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole and gave the National Vice Secretary, Victor Giadom, go ahead to preside over the Tuesday’s NEC meeting as Acting National Chairman before the bubble blasted.
The court said it granted Giadom leave to lead the [party into the NEC meeting as he is the highest ranking officer at the APC’s National Secretariat.
