The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha to March 2, 2020.
Ihedioha had approached the court for review of its judgment that sacked him as governor on January 14 and declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Hope Uzodinma, as the duly elected governor of Imo State.
The apex court which had earlier fixed today to hear the application but adjourned to March 2 following a request by Kanua Agaba, Ihedioha’s lawyer.
“I apply for a short adjournment to enable me put in all processes,” Agabi said.
All parties in the suit did not oppose the application for an adjournment.
