The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Samuel Ortom as the Governor of Benue State.
The Apex court dismissed the allegation of over-voting and other electoral malpractices during the 2019 governorship elections filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Candidate, Emmanuel Jime.
The judgment was delivered by Justice Sylvester Ngwuta on Tuesday
In another similar judgment delivered by Justice Muhammed Datijo , the apex court affirmed the election of Ahamdu Fitiri as the Governor of Adamawa State.
