Ahead of the swearing in of the newly elected Bayelsa State governor, Chief David Lyon, slated for February 14, 2020, eight committees have been set up to ensure an unfettered celebration.
In a Public Announcement signed by the Chairman of Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Amos Jothan, Chief Samuel Ogbuku has been appointed as the overall Chairman for the occasion, Cynthia Princewill as Vice while Barrister Festus Daumiebi would serve as the Secretary.
The eight committees to serve in the inauguration ceremony are the Contact, Venue and Entertainment, Protocol, Transport, Programme and Event, Publicity, Mobilisation and the Public Lecture committees.
The Publicity Committee, it was gathered, would be chaired by Yekini Nabina while Doifie Buokoribo stands in as the secretary.
