According to Premium Times, which broke the story, Senator Abbo, who was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had entered the shop in company of three young women to purchase adult toys.
It said, trouble erupted when one of the three girls started throwing up, prompting the shopowner to remark that the woman should have vomited outside and not inside her shop, a comment Abbo took umbrage at, accusing her of causing the girlâs illness allegedly by poisoning the storeâs air conditioner.
The senator went on to turn the shop ownerâs friend, a nursing mother, who attempted to pacify him into a punching bag.
