President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Justice Mohammed’s appointment followed the suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen.
Onnoghen is currently facing charges bordering on non-declaration of some of his assets, especially accounts of foreign currencies.
Sixty-five-year-old Justice Muhammed, from Bauchi State, is the most senior J ustice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
