Founder of Oodua PeopleCongress, OPC, Dr Frederick Isiotan Fasehun, is dead
Dr Fasehun, a one-time presidential candidate of Labour Party and one of the leading lights in the struggle for the actualisation of the annulled June 12, 1993 election died at the ripe age of 84 after a prolonged ailment that has kept him off the news in the last four years
Dr Fasehun, during his lifetime was one of the founding members of National Democratic Coalition, NADECO, a group that fought tooth and nail for the ouster of the fascist military regimes that gave way for the current democratic dispensation on May 29, 1999.
A medical doctor of note, he was proprietors of Best Hope Hospital in Mushin Lagos and Century Hotels, located on Ago Palace Way, Okota, Issolo, Lagos.
Dr Fasehun battled with diabetics at the latter part of his life until he breathed his last
