Former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, has arrived at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja to answer to corruption allegations.
The former governor arrived the office few minutes ago wearing a T-shirt with the inscription: “EFCC I’m here”.
He had earlier tweeted that he was on his way to the office of the agency.
The former governor, whose successor, Kayode Fayemi, was sworn-in moments ago, had also challenged lieutenants of President Muhammadu Buhari who have been accused of corruption to be bold enough to submit themselves to the anti-graft agency.
His tweet reads: “In few minutes, I will be at the EFCC Old Office, Wuse 2, Abuja. I’m a man who stands by his words and I hope that after today, those President Buhari’s men that have been accused of corruption will also be bold enough to submit themselves to the @officialEFCC.”
