Former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Presidential primary election. The National Convention of the party which took place from Saturday through to Sunday held at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium, Igwuruta-Ali, Port Harcourt.
Atiku who polled 1532 votes defeat two other leading aspirants Bukola Saraki, Senate president and Aminu Tambuwal, Governor of Sokoto which scored 317 and 693 votes respectively.
