Dr. Sam Amadi, former chairman of National Electricity Regulatory Agency(NERC) has obtained his governorship nomination form National Secretariat of the party in Abuja. Dr. Amadi will be contesting gon the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA)
Addressing journalists at APGA National secretariat Abuja, Dr Amadi reiterated his commitment in transforming Imo state. He pointed out that at this critical moment, Imo state needs a visionary leader who knows the models and rudiments of transformational leadership and someone who understands the plight of Imo people.
The renowned International Scholar and Harvard trained public administrator promised to take Imo State to an enviable height with his wealth of experience.
He stated that his administration shall anchor on the perimeters and parameters of Rule of law which according to him is an indispensable contrivance for good governance and political positivism.
The former Executive Secretary of NERC and the award-winning best public servant in the country expressed his optimism that APGA will take over Douglas house in next year’s election, and later called on the party faithful in the state to remain steadfast and committed in ensuring the victory of the party come 2019.
