Engr. Muyiwa Ogungboye, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, e.Stream Networks, has been named as chairman of the Third Quarter Forum of the Nigeria Information Technology Reportersâ Association (NITRA), under the supervision of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), billed to hold on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at the Protea Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
The NITRA Third Quarter Forum is theme : âLocal Content Development In Nigeriaâs ICT Sector: Stimulant for National Economic Recovery.â

An entrepreneur and business leader specialising in New Product Development, Strategic Operations & Sales Management, Engr. Ogungboye who is the 2nd Vice President of the Association of Telecommunication Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), is an ardent believer in best practice, evidenced in e.Stream Networks receiving ISO9001:2008 certification under his stewardship.
With over ten yearsâ experience as Chief Executive Officer responsible for implementing the e.Stream Networkâs business objectives and a budget close to N1 billion annually, Ogungboye led the transformation of e.Stream Networks from single to multiple broadband products, serving a diverse customer base nationwide and resulting in double digit growth for the company over the years.
He is an expert in managing big expansion projects, and has steered the establishment of multiple POPs across Nigeria as well as consistently delivered value to shareholders and other stakeholders.
Engr. Ogungboye studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Ilorin and the University of Lagos, where he obtained his first and second degrees, respectively. He capped it with an MBA from the Bradford University School of Management.
Before assuming his current position as managing director/chief executive officer of e.Stream Networks, he was at various times, Principal Consultant/Co-founder, LeoCom Multiconcept Ltd; General Manager, Strategic Business Development at SpaceNet Technologies Ltd; and Senior Manager, Operations and Technical Strategies of SpaceNet Technologies Ltd.
The NITRA Third Quarter Forum, will not only highlight the opportunities and challenges of deploying local content in the countryâs ICT sector, it will also provide knowledge and networking platform that will bring together technology innovators, developers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other players in the nationâs ICT sector.
