The Presidency on Monday said the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, would still remain the running mate of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and publicity, Garba Shehu on Monday confirmed that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo will remain as President Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate at the 2019 presidential election.
Shehu said this while speaking with State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said the victories recorded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in legislative elections held in three states over the weekend are a sign that victory is sure for the Buhari/Osinbajo presidential ticket in 2019.
