Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has fired the Director General of the Department of State Security, Lawal Daura.
This was according to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Laolu Akande.
“AgP Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura,” Akande wrote on Twitter.

The Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has directed the termination of the appointment of the Director General, State Security Service, Lawal Musa Daura with immediate effect.
Mr. Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.
